Beer bottles in schoolbag

Cameroon - Nkwem - by a correspondent - Three bottles of beer were recently found in a 6-year-old pupil’s schoolbag on his way to school. The toddler, whose names Feedback could not immediately obtain, by his uniform belonged to one of the government primary schools in Nkwen.

According to eyewitnesses the size of the bag this toddler was carrying to school that day surprised every onlooker. Many wondered aloud what could be I the bag. The child trailed along with difficulties. Some bigger boys of the same school were following him.

The secret of the bag became evident when the handle of the bag gave way and the bag fell to the ground. The boys following him heard the sound of bottles instead of books. Surprised at this strange sound of books the boys curiously closed up with the younger one and opened the bag. They were shocked that the contents: a bottle of Castel beer and two bottles of Guinness. They wondered what the child could be doing with beer in his school bag.

The incident attracted a crowd of passers-by who were all curious to know what was happening. Then the boy’s senior brother got the news and rushed to the scene only to find that it was his own junior brother. He then told the curious crowd that the drinks in question disappeared from their house a week ago and this junior brother of his had been the prime suspect. He took the drinks away from the child and told him to go to school and come back before answering any questions.
